The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has presented its oversight priorities for 2015.

Those priorities include the health insurance marketplace, including whether the right people are getting benefits and consumers’ personal information is being adequately protected; Medicaid expansion and services, including the assignment of beneficiaries to the correct federal medical assistance percentage (FMAP), the accuracy of eligibility determinations, the screening of providers, the suspension of payments, and provider terminations; Medicare payment and delivery reform; public health programs; and Medicare and Medicaid program integrity.

The OIG also has detailed its schedule for issuing reports for the year.
