The Alliance of Safety-Net Hospitals has written to members of Congress asking them to act on three matters essential to the ability of community safety-net hospitals to serve hardworking American families.

Specifically, ASH has asked Congress to:

• Provide permanent protection for essential telehealth services.
• Protect safety-net hospitals from devastating cuts to Medicaid disproportionate share payments (Medicaid DSH).
• Protect the 340B prescription drug discount program and reject proposals to extend the use of Medicare site-neutral payments to safety-net hospitals.
